5 Anton Yelchin Films You Must See

This afternoon my boyfriend shouted downstairs to me, “Don’t go on the internet, whatever you do”. He knows me too well to think that I would listen so I came upstairs and he told me that Anton Yelchin died in a car accident. Little baby-faced Anton Yelchin who is one of my favourite actors of the last 10 years. Tiny, cute Anton who is the same age as me. He accomplished so much in his short life and seeing what had happened to him made me glad he had the chance to share his talents. It also made me think about his filmography so I came up with a quick list of 5 Anton Yelchin Films You Must See. R.I.P. sir, we hardly knew ye.

5. Hearts In Atlantis
Based on the Stephen King book of the same name, Hearts in Atlantis is the story of a mysterious stranger who enlists the help of a brilliant young boy to save his life, changing forever the way he sees the world. Yelchin is profound and obviously a budding talent as Bobby Garfield.

4. Along Came A Spider
A psychological suspense film about a predator who kidnaps the daughter of a high-profile senator, adapted from James Patterson’s novel.

3. Only Lovers Left Alive

Two vampire lovers contemplate their place in modern society, also starring Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton.

2. Star Trek
James T. Kirk and the Starship Enterprise battle vengeful Romulans who have created a blackhole to destroy the Federation. Yelchin is a young and fresh-faced Chekov.

1. Odd Thomas

Odd Thomas, a clairvoyant short-order cook, encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark forces. Odd and his girlfriend Stormy try to stop a mass murder in his small town of Pico Mundo. Based (rather strictly) on the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz.
